Sigyn

When he was caught he was bound to a rock using his own son's entrails, Sigyn stayed with him during his imprisonments. A great snake had been positioned over Loki's body to drip acidic venom onto him day and night. Sigyn stayed over him with a bowl and caught the venom. But when she had to dump the bowl the venom would hit Loki and he'd scream in agony. Or if her arms grew weak, or she fell asleep and the bowl tilted... And Loki didn't always behave gracefully when this happened. Never once did she deserve his misplaced scorn, but she shouldered the emotional burden anyway. When it was all said and done and the imprisonment came to an end, so did their relationship. Too much had happened and too much was lost.
